This book was amazing. So different from anything I've ever read. Staci has beautifully woven two genres together, modern day romance and Greek mythology ( that's why I used the lighting bolts to relate it... get it?? 😂) You will swoon over Dean, and envy Lex for being the one that captures her heart.
The story follows the Gods of Olympus and the games they play on us mere mortals. Aphrodite (Dita) is up and her opponent is Apollo. You follow the games they play with our hearts. This game is personal for Apollo, he's competeing against Dita to win back his love, Daphne, who has been in a curse. Follow these Gods as they use the tricks up their sleeves to best one another.
Dean and Lex are the two pawns in Dita and Apollos game. Will love win in the end?
Dean is the typical lead singer of a band. The man slut we all want, but is unattainable.
Lex is the girl every guy wants, and every girls wants to be. She's sweet, beautiful, and just the right combo to be Deans kryptonite.
Staci heart has become one of the few writers I have ever read, and LOVED all her books. Sometimes, I feel like she writes for me. Just when I need a new refreshing story, here is Staci with a new book. Looking for something new and refreshing? Read this book. I loved it. I want Dean. I want to be Lex. I need more Persephone and Hades. Maybe I should start a petition for Staci just to write their story. 😂😈
